Today, on National Cancer Survivors Day, I’m reminded that even the darkest skies eventually give way to light.
There were days the clouds felt endless — heavy with fear, exhaustion, and not knowing what tomorrow would bring. But slowly, they began to part. With each treatment, each act of kindness, and every ounce of fight, the light started to return.
These photos are rare. I didn’t always want to be seen when I was at my lowest — I didn’t want the camera to capture the weight I was carrying. But today, I share them to honor the journey.
As a Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor, I know how hard this fight can be. But I also know how strong we are. To everyone still battling, to those in remission, and to those who carry the memory of a loved one — I see you. You are never alone.
The clouds do part. The light returns. And survivors shine. 🌤️
