I’d been wanting a pet for a long time, and after a lot of thought, I decided to adopt a kitty from a shelter. I truly believed I could give him love and a warm home...
But sadly, we just couldn’t connect — he kept running away, hiding, scratching, and biting me 😪
It was really hard to accept, but I had to return him — simply because he’d be safer there, with people who already understood him 💔
Some time later, I decided to try again — and now I have a Scottish Fold kitty. We connected right away, and now every morning starts with warm cuddles.
I think we found each other 🐾❤️
