My blackberry bushes are done producing for the year. They gave me alot for a few weeks. I trimmed some trees around. Hoping next year for even more. They were very small compared to store bought blackberries but they had a lot more flavor.

This is Keysha and Yuki. I’ve found them cuddling a few times. Yuki seems to look up to Keysha for guidance. That’s pretty common for younger dogs to do. It’s pretty cute. I think Keysha is a good role model.

I have this clear area I’d like to fence in for something. But I’m worried about predators with it being so close to the woods. Maybe when Yuki gets bigger and can protect the farm I’ll get some goats or sheep to put here.

One thing about having goats is always having to check on them because they tend to get stuck alot. I’m usually finding a goat stuck every week or so. It’s sometimes the same ones but it’s usually quite a few different ones in different places never at the same time. They usually make different type of noise when they’re stuck so usually if your just paying attention when your outside you can hear them and get them out.

This is Zayn. He is my number one cuddler. He only sleeps on the bed or couch. He loves my chickens and would eat every single last one if he could. He spends all his time outside watching them obsessing over them if he's not doing that you'll find him playing with the other dogs. He's one of my favorite dogs. He has a great personality and I love spending time with him.

3 of my female goats keep getting out. It's the exact same ones. I never see them get out. The places I think there getting out at and fixing just hasn't worked yet. They can jump in so I'm not sure if they are just jumping over to get out. They ate and tore out one of my apple trees and going off the property so it's something I need to get fixed.

This is Yuki. Shes a Great Pyrenees. She’s been doing super good and has been fitting in. She knows her name, how to sit, and to come. I’ve been working on getting her used to the chickens. I have let her see the goats through the fence but I don’t trust the goats not to trample her so I’m waiting until she gets bigger to go in. Hoping she turns into a good livestock protector.

This is one of my fainting goats. I just got them a few months ago. I honestly haven’t been enjoying them because they aren’t friendly and they keep escaping. One that kept getting out went missing so I only have 3 now. After catching them daily and trying to fix the fence they have finally all three stayed in for the past week. So maybe I’ll start to like them now if they can continue to stay in the fenced area.

This is Silver. She was enjoying the sun this morning. She is kind of naughty. Anytime I leave any fruit on the counter she try’s to eat it. She has ate right through the cantaloupe rind to get to the fruit. She always does it at night and I wake up in the morning and my fruit has bites taken from it. She’s tried to eat bananas, cantaloupe, and nectarines. Not in that order. I first set the nectarines on the counter to ripen one day and all four had one cat bite taken out. Then I thought she wouldn’t eat through banana peels, but she has tried. Then a few months later I just didn’t even think of it and I left the cantaloupe also on the counter and the next morning it was mutilated.

This is Bella. She loves to roughhouse with the big dogs. They usually leave her out but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t try to play. She is still pretty gross with her drooling. I love her personality though she is sweet and calm. She loves to play with my slippers. She doesn’t destroy them, she just try’s to get the other dogs to play with her like it’s a toy and none of the other dogs are interested in playing with my slippers so usually she just drops it in a random place after she’s done trying to see if the dogs want to play with her.

I’m getting tons of eggs now. Only my Rhode Island reds, lavender Orpingtons and one Easter egger must be laying. That gives me brown, cream, and green eggs. I have a maybe about 20 or so more that I’m waiting to start laying. So we’ll see if I get more colors.

I like to make sure my quail aren’t eating the same boring feed all the time. They always get their layer feed but sometimes I add chicken scratch for digestive health and meal worms for protein. I also like to give them fresh clover from my yard every time I’m out there.
